Room to Expand is a framework supporting performative and time based art at the UdK. It encourages the participants to critically examine the common notion of art, and to renegotiate authorship, exhibition in space, art production and reception. Students and teachers from different classes, faculties and institutes create interdisciplinary projects. The third edition of Room to Expand included UdK Winter Kino: a screening of student films in Hardenbergstraße 33 on February 8, and Elastic Dogmas: A Presentation of Transdisciplinary Positions which took place in Kunstraum Kreuzberg on February 14-16.
