Durch die sporadische Teilnahme an einer als Online-Petition verkleideten “Kunst(re)aktion” entstand eine Einreichung in Form eines digitalen Bildes, dass es nach gut 2 Jahren der Online-Präsenz in die Top 20 der Google-Bildersuche auf den Namen “Adam Szymczyk” geschafft hat. Kleine Bemühungen der Suchmaschinenoptimierung haben sogar aus einem Platz 14 den aktuellen Platz 13 machen können. Aus der semi-durchdachten Einsendung erheben sich nun Fragen nach Identität, Ikone, Innigkeit und Alter: Wer ist die documenta 14? Welcher Rolle will / muss ein künstlerischer Leiter spielen? Wie nah kann / darf / sollte man ihm kommen? Why do you think I’m old?!
Und natürlich auch die Frage: Wie weit schafft’s das Bild noch auf der Zielgerade in Richtung Platz 1?!!

By sporadic participation in an “art (re)action” disguised as an online petition a submission in the form of a digital image had been created. After more than 2 years of online presence the picture has managed it’s way in the Top 20 of Google Image Search on the name of Adam Szymczyk. Small efforts of search engine optimization during the last 2 weeks have been able to even lift it from a place 14 to the current place 13. This semi-thoughtful submission now raises questions about identity, icon, intimacy and age: Who is documenta 14? Which role will / must play an artistic director? How close can / may / should one get to him? Why do you think I’m old?!
And of course the question: How far will the picture come on it’s way towards place number 1?!!
